Let’s face it, our fascination with true crime will basically never end. No matter how you feel about the genre, it’s interesting to try to understand what goes on inside the head of a serial killer. Aileen Wuornos, one of the few female serial killers, has a new documentary on Netflix. It looks like there will be more content on the platform about her, and it’s Ryan Murphy who is bringing it to life.
Ryan’s series, Monster, which covers the stories of various killers, is popular. Further, the most recent season tells the story of Ed Gein and stars Charlie Hunnam. Though the show was met with mixed reviews, it was overwhelmingly popular. It was clear that there would be more additions to the series. Now, we’ve learned that one of Ryan’s favorite collaborators will be joining him for the next season of the show, and it’s Sarah Paulson.
Sarah Paulson is collaborating with Ryan Murphy once again as Aileen Wuornos in Monster Season 4

Through American Horror Story, Ryan made some of his most memorable work alongside Sarah. Her characters were always powerful. Additionally, she can dig deep into these deep characters. So, it was no surprise when the new season of Monster was announced to be about Aileen that Sarah would be taking on the role of the intense killer.
According to JustJared, the upcoming season will allegedly feature Sarah, but the show will not actually be about Aileen. The focus of the show will be Lizzie Borden, the notorious woman who was believed to have murdered her father and stepmother with an axe. Aileen will only be a feature in the series, as the most recent season included other killers like Ted Bundy.
Lizzie will be played by actress Ella Beatty, the daughter of legendary actor Warren Beatty. Consequently, she and Sarah will be joined by other previous collaborators of Ryan, like Charlie and Billie Lourde.
