Travis Kelce spoke about having to deal with a severe concussion after the Chiefs vs. Bills game on Sunday, November 2. Notably, Bills’ safety Cole Bishop tackled Travis during the game. Later on, the Chiefs staff evaluated Travis’ medical condition for a possible concussion.

The 36-year-old NFL star revealed to his brother Jason, “It knocked the wind out of me. He caught me. I got kinda sandwiched in there.” In the moments after he hit the end zone turf, Travis knew he was okay but was struggling to get on his feet.

Travis recalled the Chiefs support staff taking him into the blue tent to check for signs of a concussion. The Chiefs tight end revealed, “Go into the blue tent. You got the wind knocked out…It was at halftime. I had to get evaluated in the locker room. I just said, ‘Why, what is this?’ ‘What day is it?’ It is f*****g Sunday.”

Furthermore, the Kansas City Chiefs star joked, “Before a concussion or after a concussion, I don’t know who we played last week. We are in week nine. Are you kidding me? So you’re gonna make me sit here and f*****g ask who did we play last week? The Commanders. We played the Commanders.”

Fortunately, Travis’ injury was not a serious one, and he was able to return for the second half of the game. However, in spite of Travis’ best efforts, the Kansas City Chiefs lost the game to the Buffalo Bills, 28-21.

In another segment, when Jason asked Travis about his plans for the bye week, which is essentially time off before their next match, the 36-year-old refused to talk about his romantic life with Taylor Swift. Instead, he seemed more interested in discussing the team’s strategy to beat the Denver Broncos.

Travis Kelce revealed, “I’m thinking about how the f*** are we gonna beat the Denver Broncos? That’s gonna be on my mind for the next two weeks.”
