There is widespread speculation that La Toya Jackson may be in poor health.
This all started when the 69-year-old singer shared a video online waiting to see a doctor. Many have been worried about the two-time New York Times bestselling author lately. Last December, she released a video of a trip she took to Qatar. The songwriter was considerably slimmer, leading some to speculate that her health was declining.

Over the years, La Toya has reportedly experienced her share of painful experiences. From alleged abuses and reported brainwashing, her past may have taken a mental and physical toll on her.
Now, concern is growing that her health condition is worsening. In an Instagram post November 8, La Toya said, “I’m here at the doctor again, so I’m hoping that everything goes well with me, and all results are good.” She didn’t touch on why she was seeing a doctor.
That video showed La Toya sporting a fluorescent orange cap pulled low on her forehead. She also wore an orange scarf and sunglasses. While no one knows precisely what her current health situation is, La Toya recently shared that her brother Jackie and his wife Emily sent her flowers. It’s not known why.
Many of her family members reacted and showed La Toya some love on Instagram after her video. Her sister Janet Jackson, along with Taryll Jackson, son of her late brother Tito, commented on the video.
Her reality show Life with La Toya ran for two seasons on the Oprah Winfrey Network in 2013 and 2014. In May of this year, she was estimated to have a net worth of $1 million.
