Ex-Prince Andrew Will ‘Probably Go to Jail,’ Claims Royal Historian

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s troubles aren’t over yet, it seems. Several royal experts have suggested the former Prince Andrew could face jail time, as he’s now “wide open” to possible criminal charges without his titles.

Speaking to RadarOnline, royal historian Andrew Lownie alleged that the disgraced royal is under investigation by the police in London. “Andrew is going to be charged with various public offences and misconduct in public office,” the royal expert said. “He’ll probably go to jail.”

“The case against him is pretty clear,” Andrew – who is the author of Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York – added. “He is toast.”

Notably, the author said these investigations go beyond Andrew’s alleged ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. This is in addition to the accusation that he sexually assaulted Virginia Giuffre as a minor, which he has consistently denied. “He won’t go down for sex trafficking,” the source suggested. “It will be for financial impropriety.”

“Without the protection his royal titles gave him, he’s more wide open to legal action,” another insider told RadarOnline. As a result, “Andrew’s in a very precarious position now.”

“The Palace has clearly distanced itself,” the second source went on, adding that Andrew is dealing “alone” with the fallout. “He is a sitting duck for law enforcement and very vulnerable. He should be getting a top legal team in place now.”

Similarly, a third source suggested that Andrew has “never been this exposed.” They continued: “His title once gave him a degree of protection, but that safety net has vanished.”
