After her last interview in September, Ariana Grande was once again questioned about the moon landing during her recent conversation with Vanity Fair. The singer recently took their infamous lie detector test to promote her upcoming film “Wicked: For Good,” where she finally clarified that she is not much concerned about the moon landing as she is more “worried about earth.”
Ariana Grande is more ‘worried about Earth’ than moon landing
Ariana Grande was once again in a hot seat at Vanity Fair’s lie detector tests. Last year, during a rapid-fire question, when her “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo asked whether she thinks the moon landing was “fake,” Grande replied, “No!.” However, the polygraph reader revealed that her answer was “inconclusive,” hinting that she might not be telling the entire truth.
And this time again, when the “NASA” singer was at the show along with her co-star Bowen Yang to promote her musical fantasy film, Grande encountered the question for the second time.
“I wanna make sure you’re getting the truth this time, because I feel a little bit like we have some air to clear,” the pop icon said as she was getting wired up to the polygraph by operator Stephanie.
The singer spoke about the “moon thing,” again saying it “doesn’t sit well with” her. The 32-year-old then added that “The moon landing has happened… and f**k off if it didn’t.”
And her views did not stop here. The Grammy-award winner again expressed her opinion when Yang asked her if she would “like a chance to redeem [her]self” regarding the moon landing. “No,” Grande replied promptly, adding she wants to “move past it.”
But before switching the positions, Yang asked if there were anything Grande would like to “clear up about the moon.” He then asked her if she “believe in the moon?” To which Grande responded, “I do.”
However, when her co-star enquired if she believes “there is a flag planted in the moon?,” the actress burst. She said, “The truth is, I don’t give a rat’s a**. I’m worried about Earth, god damn it! We’re burning alive!” she exclaimed.
“We’re killing each other. Can we worry about Earth for five minutes? Who gives a f**k about the moon and the flag?” she concluded.
