Eddie Murphy Names Actor He Claims Wanted Him To Have Sex With His Wife

Throughout his lengthy career, Eddie Murphy has had his share of offers, though at least one had nothing to do with acting.

When he turned 21 in the early 80s, he says he had a big party at the famed Studio 54 in New York. At the time, Eddie was well-known for his work on Saturday Night Live.

As he officially became an adult on that day, he claims a well-known actor may have subtly wanted him to perform adult things. Eddie says that Yul Brynner asked him if he wanted to go back to his apartment and party with the actor and his wife.

He recalled that his wife had a smile on her face after the proposition was made, leading him to believe Yul was offering sex with his wife. Eddie declined to go back to the apartment with them.

In life, you have to live with the decisions you make, but there’s at least one that Eddie looks back on with regret.

In his Netflix documentary Being Eddie, the SNL alum says he wishes he had taken Yul up on his indirect offer. The Russian American actor who won an Oscar for The King and I died of cancer in 1985. “The story would [have] ended better,” joked the Beverly Hills Cop actor.

He draws a crowd where he goes these days but Eddie wasn’t one to hog attention at parties. Eddie says he was always introverted at parties. His longtime friend and comedian Jamie Foxx said, “He’ll (Eddie) sit in the back of the room with a Coca Cola.”

Even with all his fancy parties and celebrities he’s met, he says he’s never touched cocaine, smoked cigarettes and doesn’t drink. He recalled a time when he met two of his heroes, Robin Williams and John Belushi. There was a time he recalls where the late comedians had blow on the table. Eddie says drugs were never something that interested him.

The trailer for his documentary earned mixed reviews from fans.
