Though Donald Trump continues to deny ever behaving inappropriately in Jeffrey Epstein’s company, the emails may say differently.
Earlier this year, UK ambassador to the US Peter Mandelson was fired over his connection to Epstein. His only response about his connection to the late pedophile was to snap, “I’m not answering any questions about him I wish I’d never met him in the first place.”
In addition, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was stripped of all his “style, titles and honors” over his friendship with Epstein. Though everyone’s denying any inappropriate behavior, there’s definitely too much smoke for there not to be a fire somewhere.
A Jeffrey Epstein email naming Donald Trump was released by Democrats
This morning the House Oversight Committee did what it’s been teasing for months. Finally, the 23,000 documents provided by Epstein’s estate were released. They include emails sent between Epstein and his former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell. Ghislaine is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her involvement in sex trafficking.
In a 2011 email about Trump, Epstein wrote, “I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump [sic]. [Victim] spent hours at my house with him … he has never once been mentioned.”
In response, Ghislaine wrote, “I have been thinking about that … ”
In a January 31, 2019 email, Epstein mentioned Trump’s Palm Beach club Mar-a-Lago in a message to author Michael Wolff. “Trump said he asked me to resign,” the convicted sex offender wrote. “[I was] never a member ever. Of course he knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine [sic] to stop.”
In another message from 2015, Wolff allegedly told Epstein that CNN planned to ask Trump about their relationship. This was just prior to the Republican primary debate hosted by CNN. “If we were able to craft an answer for him, what do you think it should be?” Epstein replied.
“If he says he hasn’t been on the plane or to the house,” Wolff wrote, “then that gives you a valuable PR and political currency. You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive benefit for you. Or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him, generating a debt.”
Fortunately, moderators did not ask Trump any Epstein-related questions, according to PBS News’ review of transcripts and video. Meanwhile, Andrew’s biographer has a warning for him.
