During a phone call, the couple jokingly concludes that their careers are similar to each other’s. The moment, featured in Disney+’s upcoming docuseries on Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, offers a candid look at their relationship.

Taylor Swift draws a parallel between her career and Travis Kelce’s in the latest trailer for The End of an Era. The newly released footage includes a phone conversation in which Swift tells Kelce that they “basically have the same job,” a remark that the NFL star agreed with.
Swift remarked, “We basically have the same job,” to which Kelce responded, “You’ve got teammates, I’ve got teammates.” The pop star further joked that Kelce has Chiefs coach Andy Reid, while she has her mother, Andrea Swift. She laughed and said, “You’ve got Coach [Andy] Reid, I’ve got my mom.”
In the same trailer, Andrea also comments on the couple, stating that Kelce “brings a lot of happiness.” The docuseries also shows their relationship during the Eras Tour, a period when Kelce often attended her concerts and spent time with her backstage.
Additional footage in the trailer shows Kelce waiting for Swift beneath the stage after what seemed like her final performance, calling out “Tay Tay!” before she greets him. Swift is also seen wearing multiple pieces of Kansas City Chiefs merchandise as she follows one of Kelce’s games from behind the scenes.
Alongside the personal moments, the series examines the scale and impact of the Eras Tour, offering behind-the-scenes glimpses. It also features guest appearances from Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, and members of Swift’s touring company. Filmed in Vancouver, The End of an Era will premiere its first two episodes on December 12, followed by releases on December 19 and December 26 on Disney+.
