Michael Jackson’s Daughter Paris ‘Isolated’ Amid Estate War — Source

Paris Jackson has reportedly “cut off” from much of the Jackson family after suffering a major setback in her legal battle over her father’s estate. Michael Jackson’s daughter pushed for more transparency from executors John Branca and John McClain, which was largely struck down by a judicial referee in Los Angeles, escalating tensions within the family as the estate dispute continues.

Referee Mitchell L. Beckloff granted the executors’ motion to strike key portions of Paris’ petition, ruling that many of her claims challenged the estate’s own court filings. Because California’s anti-SLAPP statute protects those filings, the court removed large sections of her case and ruled that the estate should receive attorneys’ fees.

Now, Rob Shuter reports the legal defeat has deepened a rift within the family. “Paris is hurt. She’s angry. And she truly believes she’s the only one telling the truth,” a family insider told the outlet. “She’s not giving up. Not even close.”

Another source claimed the emotional toll has been severe. “Paris has cut off almost everyone. She’s not speaking to her brothers. Not speaking to her grandmother. She’s isolated — it’s Paris and the people whispering in her ear.” Prince and Bigi, however, reportedly want no involvement. “They think she’s getting terrible advice,” a Jackson associate claimed.

Michael Jackson’s daughter had accused the estate of lacking oversight and making irregular payments, including non-contractual gifts of $125,000 and $250,000 to attorneys. She also argued that delayed fee petitions from 2019 through 2023 prevented proper scrutiny. Her filing stated that the “five-year and growing lag” prevented the beneficiaries from understanding how the estate was being managed.

The executors argued that Paris built her claims on the very filings she was criticizing. They also pointed to their record since 2009, stating that they transformed an estate “burdened with hundreds of millions of dollars in debt” into “a powerhouse and a force in the music business today.” In their filings, they said Paris had “received roughly $65 million” in benefits since her father’s death.
