The legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively is still raging on (and on… and on…). In the latest update, a video of Justin making a rather awkward joke on set has come to light. In the clip, the actor and director can seemingly be heard apologizing for missing “the sexual harassment training.”
Justin Baldoni made an awkward joke while filming It Ends With Us
A video of the filmmaker making a misguided joke on the set of It Ends With Us has raised a few eyebrows.
In the eight-minute clip obtained by TMZ, Justin, Blake, and Jenny Slate are preparing to shoot a scene, surrounded by a bunch of background artists. While the dialogue is a little tricky to make out, at one point Justin seems to say “sexy” while looking at Blake.
A little while later, he appears to say: “Sorry, I missed the sexual harassment training” while looking at Jenny. He then rolls his eyes.
A few minutes later, during prep for the scene, Justin says: “Well, my apologies,” while talking to Blake and Jenny, to which Blake replies: “All good.”
Justin’s legal team references his choice of the word “sexy” in a motion filed by the director. His attorney says it “was entirely unremarkable,” noting that Blake was “not scantily clad.” The three main actors were all wearing fleece onsies during the filming of the scene.
In the legal filing, Justin’s attorneys also say he was apologizing “if his remark was inappropriate.”
The video has reportedly been entered as an exhibit by Wayfarer, the studio Justin runs, as part of his legal battle with Blake. He has also entered a video of the pair allegedly partaking in an unscripted kiss on set.
Blake is suing him for sexual harassment on the set of the ill-fated movie. He has firmly denied the accusations.
