Kelsey Grammer’s daughter is dismissing any notions that she’s a nepo baby.
It’s a common label when you’re the child of a celebrity with a considerable fortune, like the Frasier star. Greer, however, claims she barely knew her father or his fame for quite some time. “The biggest misconception about me, and I never know how to talk about it except to just trauma dump,” Greer shared about her and Kelsey.
Greer is one of eight children that Kelsey has, while the actor also has one grandchild.

Being born with a silver spoon in your mouth is a common assumption that many associate with the kids of celebrities. That wasn’t Greer, though, who told the Pretty Basic Podcast: “I didn’t know my dad until I was 16.” She adds that “My dad left when I was 4, and then I didn’t meet him again until I was 16.”
She admits seeing him when she was 11 and ran. Greer adds that during the original run of Frasier, she was taken out of the audience by her mom for being too loud. By all accounts, Greer and her dad have had a rocky relationship. According to her, they reconnected when she was 16. At the same time, the two have rarely been seen in public together. She also revealed on the podcast that she’s seeing a therapist to work through her daddy issues.
Greer was on the MTV sitcom Awkward, which ran for five seasons. When Frasier rebooted in 2023, she made two guest appearances on her father’s show. The reboot was cancelled by Paramount+ earlier this year. They’ve been shopping around to get it on other networks without any success.
Before getting bitten by the acting bug, Greer was involved in beauty pageants, winning the title of Miss Teen Malibu in 2008.
