His time as King is a long way away, but when it comes, it will be an important one for the royal family.
Prince George is the second in line to become King and, according to many, his time on the throne is a critical one for a family that have been plagued with past scandals. “Everyone knows the next generation has to symbolize a clean break,” a senior royal source said.
That will not be easy, given everything his grandfather, King Charles, has had to deal with this year. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his royal titles because of his connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
The good news is that George has time to groom himself for this position. He will surely hope that his father, Prince William, can keep the royal house scandal free.
Prince George will lead a new era for the Royal Family

Slowly, William and Kate Middleton’s eldest son is being eased into royal life. The hope is that will help him when he takes full control.
“Prince George is being eased in slowly because he offers stability without any of the old complications,” a source told RadarOnline. George represented his family at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance last week. At the event, it was reported that the 12-year-old appeared calm and composed.
George’s growing prominence during recent royal outings underscores his family’s emphasis on stability. Currently, only 51% of Brits believe the monarchy is important to the UK. In the mid-1980s 86% believed it was.
While it appears as though George is in training to become King, it’s not something his parents are saying much about, at least not to him. In August, it was reported that William and Kate were delaying discussing his future as King with him.
George’s brother Prince Louis reportedly “naturally draws attention.” Insiders believe he could grow into a prominent public presence.
