Though we haven’t heard from Mary Trump in a while, she’s back to give us more perspective on her uncle.
After Donald Trump instructed a female reporter on Air Force One to be “quiet, piggy,” Mary called his behavior “despicable.” Furthermore, in a video posted to X on November 18, Mary added, “Donald is a lifelong hardcore misogynist … He doesn’t really like it when women ask him difficult questions.”
Donald Trump is facing backlash after telling a female reporter to be “quiet piggy”
After playing the shocking clip of the November 14 incident, Mary added, “Now obviously that was wildly inappropriate and despicable, but it’s also par for the course.”
When Bloomberg White House correspondent Catherine Lucey attempted to ask the president a follow-up question about his ties to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, he abruptly shut her down. Pointing his finger in her face, he demanded she be quiet, calling her “piggy” in the process.
“If there’s nothing incriminating in the files, sir, why not … ” Catherine began, before being rudely interrupted and called a nasty name. It was demeaning, unprofessional and downright embarrassing for everyone involved.
“I’d say that the only pig in the scenario is Donald,” the psychologist and political commentator continued. “But actual pigs are intelligent and affectionate creatures, while Donald is just a vile and corrupt criminal who — also unlike pigs — has absolutely nothing of value to contribute to the world.”
In another interview earlier this week, Mary admitted to having been in alarming proximity to Epstein back in 1993. As a family member, she was a guest at Donald’s second wedding to Marla Maples, as was his friend Jeffrey.
“I never met him, thankfully,” Mary told the Daily Beast. “But I have had the great misfortune of being in the same room with Jeffrey Epstein … which is alarming enough.”
TELL US – DO YOU THINK TRUMP TELLING A REPORTER “QUIET, PIGGY” WAS IN ANY WAY APPROPRIATE? WOULD YOU EXPECT A PERSON IN AUTHORITY TO TALK THAT WAY TO ANYONE JUST DOING THEIR JOB?
