Drake seemingly shades Serena Williams under the tennis post
Drake uploaded pictures with Sexyy Red on his Instagram in tennis gear, standing on a tennis court. He captioned the picture, “I said tennis lesson she said where’s the bracelet or the necklace.” Given that Serena Williams was a pro tennis player, a user commented under the post drawing comparisons to her.
They wrote, “Serena Williams upgrade ??,” allegedly hinting that Sexyy Red is a better version of Drake’s ex. The singer reportedly responded by liking the comment. This move added fuel to the whole story.
Serena Williams and Drake had dated on and off from 2011 to 2015. This is not the first time that the ex-couple has been caught in such a controversy. In 2022, Drake drew attention for his lines on his song, ‘Middle of the Ocean.” Many fans interpreted it as a jab at Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian.
