More accusers are coming forward in the case against a Motown legend.
Smokey Robinson and his wife, Francis Gladney, are facing numerous allegations regarding their reported treatments to some of their employees. A lawsuit against the singer and songwriter was initially filed in May by Jane Does 1 through 4. Four of his former housekeepers have accused the R&B artist of rape. One of the new accusers to speak up is reportedly aformer male employee.
The plaintiffs in this matter are seeking no less than $50 million worth of general damages.

You can add two more plaintiffs to the growing list of those accusing Smokey and his wife of wrongdoings.
John Doe 1 and Jane Doe 5 are adding their names to the lawsuit against the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. One of the new complainants was reportedly a former employee of Smokey.
The amended complaint obtained by Page Six on Wednesday states that John Doe 1 began working for Smokey and his wife at their California home in 2013. They did auto detail and related services.
This John Doe alleges the founding member of the Miracles would often come out to see him work in only underwear. He claims Smokey would touch himself in front of him. “Vulgar and offensive advances” would allegedly follow this. John Doe 1 also alleges that the singer once grabbed his hand without consent and tried to force it into his private area in 2022.
Jane Doe 5 claims to be a housekeeper of his, starting in 2005. She alleges being sexually harassed when returning from a leave of absence in 2007. Jane Doe 5 alleges that a lot of the sexual harassment took place in the second-floor bathroom of the home.
According to her Smokey would often call her baby and summon her to the bathroom whie showering. She also alleges he grabbed her hand and tried to force it into his private area. Jane Doe 5 adds that Smokey would allegedly touch his elbow on her chest and walk naked through the home. According to her, she was overworked and underpaid.
Smokey’s attorney, Christopher Frost, says the new complainants are part of the same group conspiring against the Robinsons. He adds that they’re laying out these allegations for publicity.
Smokey’s music has been previously featured on TV including Dancing with the Stars during Motown Week in 2012.
