Jack Doherty is sharing the details of the circumstances surrounding his recent arrest in Miami. Speaking to TMZ, the 22-year-old influencer described the day as the “worst” of his life. He highlighted the long cycle of confinement, processing, and waiting that stretched over many hours.

According to Doherty, his detention involved being held in a small cell for roughly five hours before officers moved him through the standard booking procedures, including his mugshot and fingerprinting. He was then transferred to a larger holding room, where he remained for approximately ten additional hours and was finally permitted to make phone calls.

The influencer added that he was placed in an additional cell later in the day, where he briefly slept before officers informed him that he would be released. He also claimed that some officers even mentioned that his mugshot had already begun circulating online. Doherty publicly emphasized that he posted his $3,500 bail as soon as he was allowed. He even joked afterward that he was released in time to resume content plans scheduled for the following day.

Authorities arrested the YouTuber on November 15 in Miami-Dade County, where he was reportedly attempting to film content while interacting with police officers. Court documents show he was taken into custody on multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of fewer than 20 grams of marijuana, and resisting an officer without violence. Doherty has said that he intends to avoid further legal trouble. However, he has also stated he does not plan to pursue any form of drug treatment. The influencer now faces the possibility of three charges moving forward as the case progresses.
