Kevin Spacey Is ‘Homeless’ Seven Years After Sexual Assault Claims

Kevin Spacey reveals he is “homeless” and is “living in hotels,” seven years after the sexual assault scandal. The Oscar-winning actor explained that he has no proper home and is going wherever work is taking him.

Kevin Spacey shares that he is homeless and living in hotels in an exclusive interview with The Telegraph. This comes seven years after sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Spacey revealed that he lost his home in Baltimore, Maryland, where he lived for 12 years. He confessed, “Because the costs over these last seven years have been astronomical. I’ve had very little coming in and everything going out.”

The “American Beauty” actor described his financial situation as “not so great” and clarified that he “literally has no home.” Spacey explained, “I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is. I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain.”

Continuing further, the actor explained that he is living out of a suitcase and simply goes wherever work takes him. He shared, “You get through it. In weird ways, I feel I’m back to where I first started, which is I just went where the work was.

“Everything is in storage, and I hope at some point, if things continue to improve, that I’ll be able to decide where I want to settle down again,” he added.

Notably, in October 2017, Star Tek: Discovery actor accused Spacey of sexual assault by in October 2017. Netflix dropped the 66-year-old actor from House of Cards and other projects as well.

In July 2023, Spacey was cleared by a jury of all charges in a U.K. sexual assault trial related to allegations levied against him (US Weekly). It has been two years since, and the Oscar winner hopes to make a Hollywood comeback soon.

Spacey expressed, “We are in touch with some extremely powerful people who want to put me back to work. And that will happen in its right time. “

Continuing further, “But I will also say what I think the industry seems to be waiting for is to be given permission – by someone who is in some position of enormous respect and authority.”
