Olivia Munn recently revealed that Kate Middleton’s words on her own health journey helped the actor feel “comforted” after her breast cancer treatment. On Wednesday, November 19, the “The Newsroom” actor made a guest appearance on “Today.” While talking to the show’s host, Jenna Bush Hager, she expressed that she “needed” to listen to the Princess of Wales opening up about her health.
Olivia Munn said Kate Middleton’s words helped her
Olivia Munn disclosed that after her treatment for breast cancer, the words of Kate Middleton on her health journey gave her comfort. As reported by People magazine, the Princess of Wales said while describing her life after treatment, “You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment, treatments done.” She reportedly continued, “Then it’s like, “I can crack on, get back to normal.”” She then added, “But actually the phase afterwards is really, really difficult.”
While on the “Today” show with host Jenna Bush Hager, Olivia Munn revealed, “It was so great to hear her (Kate Middleton) say it because I wasn’t able to put the words in myself.” The actor continued, “And I’ve been talking so much about breast cancer.” She further explained, “The first part is hard, but a lot of people don’t talk about how hard the second part is.” She continued, “I actually didn’t know how to articulate it.”
Meanwhile, after that, Olivia Munn said, “and then I heard her (Kate Middleton) say recently that, “Oh, it’s hard, but this other part is really tough.”” The actor also added, “”The part after the surgeries and stuff like that.”” In the meantime, the “Your Friends & Neighbors” actor explained, “It really made me feel so comforted that someone in her position was talking about it.” She continued, “because I needed to hear that.” “I needed someone to articulate that,” the actor and the mother of two kids further added.
