On the latest episode of their New Heights Podcast, Travis and Jason Kelce spoke of Franchise Records, Sanders’ NFL Debut, and a special mention, Taco Domination. After getting a ‘No Dumb’ question from fellow NFL player Cameron Skattebo, the Kelce brothers dived deep into a taco discussion. By the end of it, Travis made sure that none of the tacos watching would ever try to mess with him.
Travis Kelce describes how he’d eat a taco
On episode 165 of Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, the dynamic duo went deep into a discussion about how they eat their tacos. This conversation started after they heard a question from NY Giants running back Cam Skattebo, during the “No Dumb Questions” segment of their podcast. They played a clip of Skattebo asking them, “Do you turn your head to eat a taco, or do you turn the taco for you?”
“It’s about the dominance of the taco though,” Skattebo added. Beginning to laugh, Jason quickly reacted to this, saying, “I don’t know what he dominates more, linebackers or tacos.” However, Travis then hopped on the taco train, noting, “He also doesn’t sound like he likes to keep what’s in the taco, in the taco.”
The brothers then agreed that if it’s a hard-shell taco, you have to slightly tilt to eat it. Soon, Jason follows up by saying, “I’m a three-quarter taco eater. Not overhand or submarine,” to which Kelce, seemingly confused, reacts with, “What?” before both burst out laughing.
Travis then made a serious statement, leaving tacos all over in fear for their lives. “I’ll dominate the taco by devouring the taco,” he said. “I’mma chew hard as f***, so that taco knows… who’s boss,” the Chiefs tight end added.
He further reveals to his brother Jason that he’s a hard-shell taco guy and does not prefer onions. “I just can’t do the long slimy onions,” he shared. Then Jason, expressing his love for tacos, says, “I am a big taco guy. I love tacos. Taco Tuesday? It’s taco any day.”
