Ella Langley was the big winner at the Country Music Awards (CMA) on Wednesday in more ways than one. It wasn’t just her record-setting night which caught people’s attention at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Her red lace outfit turned people’s heads throughout the evening as she drew most of the audience’s attention before, during, and after the show. In the end, it was a night that neither she nor country music fans will ever forget.

Her wardrobe choice garnered plenty of attention, and the attention on Ella only grew as the evening wore on. She entered the night tied for the most nominations with six and did not walk away empty-handed. By the end of the ceremony, she had captured three CMAs and made history in the process.
Ella’s triple platinum smash hit You Look Like You Love Me took home the awards for Single, Song and Music Video of the Year. Last year, that song, which features singer Riley Green, won for Musical Event of the Year. As a result, the duo made CMA history. That track is the first to sweep all four categories for which it was nominated.
Meanwhile Ella also brought the house down when performing the song Choosin’ Texas on stage during the festivities. That song went all the way up to fifth on the US Country charts this year.
Last year You Look Like You Love Me went to #1 on the US Country Airplay charts. That song was Ella’s first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. She has previously said that she’s obsessed with the song while hoping it could be someone’s wedding song one day. Ella’s net worth this year is an estimated $5 million
Ella and Riley’s performance of Don’t Mind If I Do was nominated for Music Event of the Year this time around, losing out to Pour Me A Drink from Post Malone with Blake Shelton.
