Sydney Sweeney made an X (formerly Twitter) account to answer some burning questions about her dating life in a new GQ interview. A fan asked, “Is Sydney Sweeney dating?” She joked that her alleged romantic liaisons are news to her as well.
Sweeney replied rhetorically, “You guys tell me. Because I wake up and I find out I’m dating a different guy on a daily basis. And I don’t know how I even can keep up with myself.” This comes after various media outlets claimed that Sweeney is dating music executive Scooter Braun.
However, earlier this month, the actress clarified her relationship status in a recent interview with GQ magazine and said, “I’m single.”
Continuing further, Sweeney quipped, “I don’t think I’m looking for a man right now. What I’ve learned this year is that I have a really, really amazing group of girlfriends, and I am strong and independent, and that I’m going to be okay. If love finds me, love finds me.”
In the same interview, the Euphoria alum described herself as a “hopeless romantic.” She confessed that she isn’t actively looking for love at the moment and is fully focused on her career.
The White Lotus star stated, “I’m a hopeless romantic, so I hope love finds me, but I’m not the type of person that wants to go out all the time. And I do believe in true love and wanting to be with someone for the rest of my life. So I’m not going to… you won’t see me jumping around a lot of places,” she added.
Notably, the Eden star broke up with her long-time fiancé, Jonathan Davino, reportedly in March this year. There were rumors of a possible reconciliation as well. However, Sweeney’s reported frequent public outings with Braun have seemingly put those rumors to rest.
