There is drama between Wendy Williams and her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey. The former talk show host fears Sabrina is retaliating due to her revised health diagnosis. Wendy was cleared of her frontotemporal dementia aphasia diagnosis earlier this month by Mount Sanai neurologist, Dr. Samuel Gandy.
Wendy planned a dinner in celebration of this happy news for November 19. However, she couldn’t reach her bodyguard. She is prohibited from leaving her upscale assisted living facility’s memory care unit without one.

The gathering was planned a couple of weeks ago and included Wendy’s friends. Invited guests included comedian Luenell and Wendy’s former “Wendy” show producer, Suzanne Bass. The party was to take place at Max Tucci’s TUCCI restaurant in New York’s Noho neighborhood. In a phone call with Wendy, Luenell told her, “I was going to kiss you, hold your hand, all the s–t you don’t like. I’m praying for you queen.”
According to a Page Six source, Wendy “thinks Sabrina may have dismissed” her bodyguard. The talk show queen “can’t go anywhere without Sabrina signing off, and [the bodyguard] being there,” according to the source.
Wendy’s friends think her recent outings enraged Sabrina. This included the Connecticut wedding of her attorney Joe Tacopina’s son. Joe believes that “Wendy is not being protected,” according to the Page Six report.
Wendy is still under a legal guardianship, which oversees her finances and health. Wells Fargo froze her bank accounts after Wendy’s financial adviser alerted the bank of her “unsound mind.” Wells Fargo petitioned a New York court for financial guardianship, stating Wendy was at risk of being exploited financially.
Her lawyers are preparing to file a motion this month requesting a hearing to terminate the guardianship. If the judge denies that request, the team plans to then demand a jury trial.
