As if Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test wasn’t already challenging enough, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia had to deal with another stressful factor, and that was Kody Brown’s body odor. According to Brianna, she had to force the Sister Wives star to wear deodorant while they were filming.

Although Kody has four wives and over a dozen children, Brianna was apparently the first person in his life to clue him into this little miracle called deodorant. The Barstool Sports host opened up to Decider about the unfortunate situation.
“Someone had to do it,” she recalled. “But it was out of love. I spent on the show, I would say, the most time with Kody. We were paired up almost every single challenge together, every single car ride.”
According to Brianna, “everyone” noticed it, but no one wanted to say anything. However, she eventually broke her silence on the body odor issue during an unfortunate car ride. He raised his arms, and the smell crept out and smacked Brianna right in the face.
“It was bad, man,” she recalled. “We were in the car, and he had his arm up, and I was like, ‘Kody, why don’t you have deodorant? You have a bag full of vitamins, but you didn’t bring deodorant?'”
Brianna said he laughed, and he was a “very good sport” about it. However, deodorant or not, he didn’t quite have the fortitude to make it through the final challenge. He and Brianna both failed the final challenge, but perhaps the real prize was the friends they made along the way.
“I think he succeeded in the best way he could,” Brianna said. “He did amazing on the show. He was such a strong force. Sometimes I think he forgot there were team aspects of it, and I just needed to remind him a few times … and remind him about the deodorant.”
