Sarah Ferguson is hoping a renowned erotic novelist can help her with a big career change. E.L. James is famous for the book Fifty Shades of Grey, turning the British writer into a household name.
The former Duchess of York is reportedly delving into a new genre of novels and believes the woman who wrote the 2012 Book of the Year, per the British Book Awards, is the perfect person to get advice from. Sarah is “gagging” to have a private meeting with the famous author, according to an insider.
Sarah’s latest children’s book was withdrawn from publication.
Sarah Ferguson is reportedly thinking about writing adult novels

She may no longer have a future authoring kids’ books, but Sarah isn’t giving up on her writing career. Reports indicate she is aiming to “write raunchy novels,” instead. That’s where she could use the assistance of the author, born Erika Mitchell.
Sources have told RadarOnline that she believes E.L.’s guidance would enable Sarah to reinvent herself and have a successful career writing X-rated novels. While the transition from children’s novels to steamy adult ones seems extreme, it’s one that probably few people would be surprised by. That’s because of Sarah’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein which have left another stain on the former royal’s reputation. E-mails surfaced recently with the former Duchess calling the late pedophile a “supreme friend.”
Quietly, Sarah has published 50 books, ranging from children’s to memoir and historical romance. She and ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor were evicted from their Royal Lodge home because of the Epstein scandals. “She (Sarah) can’t just sit around waiting to be pushed out of everything,” according to a Buckingham Palace aide.
If or when she comes out with another book, it’s unlikely to be under her real name. Insiders believe that she’ll use a pseudonym, allowing her to write freely without the current stigma attached to her name.
