Trigger Warning: This article contains a discussion of sexual assault allegations.
We live for reality TV drama, but every once in a while, things get so dark that it stops being entertaining. That’s definitely the case with this situation between Marciano Brunette and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, Demi Engemann.
The two have been embroiled in a back-and-forth after the SLOMW cast did a crossover with Vanderpump Villa earlier this year. Demi said there was an instance of an “unwanted touch” from Marciano.
It’s a claim that he has vehemently denied, but things just took a step even further in the wrong direction in a series of since-deleted Instagram comments.
Marciano Brunette denies groping Demi Engemann’s “privates” after deleted comments
The latest twist to the Marciano and Demi drama arrived when he did a collaborative post on Instagram with podcaster Heather McDonald. The pair were promoting an upcoming podcast episode, and Demi slid into the comments. Her replies have since been deleted, but the screenshots last forever.
“She decided to become fully unhinged and go off in the comments,” Marciano explained on Instagram, along with the screenshots.
“She proceeded to say ‘I groped her privates,’ which obviously never happened, and of course, is the first time she’s ever mentioning ‘privates.’ It’s hilarious how her story continues to change,” Marciano continued.
Then, things reached a new low when Demi brought up Marciano’s father, Johnny Montantes. He was a professional boxer who died in the ring when Marciano was a child.
“Was your daddy this big of a pussy too? I’m sure he’s looking down so disappointed in what an embarrassment you’ve turned out to be,” Demi said in the since-deleted comment.
Obviously, that crossed a line. Marciano reacted to the comments, calling them “beyond sickening.”
Marciano already promised to sue Demi over the sexual assault allegations. Now, this just added more fuel to the fire. He said he plans on making her “regret every lie she’s ever told.” According to him, we’ll “never have to see [Demi] on TV ever again” after he’s done handling this in court.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is now streaming on Hulu.
