Vogue France has released a striking new editorial featuring Irina Shayk and Mona Tougaard, showcasing the supermodels in sleek lingerie and sheer tights for the magazine’s upcoming December/January issue. The editorial celebrates a full year of Claire Thomson-Jonville’s leadership as head of editorial content and her focus on pairing iconic models with fashion storytelling.
For its double December–January issue, Vogue France encourages readers to lean into the art of manifestation. For the holiday season, editors curated a lineup of standout gifts from sparkling diamonds and delicate lingerie to gourmet treats and toys. And Shayk and Tougaard perfectly showcase some gorgeous intimates from Marc Jacobs.
Irina Shayk and Mona Tougaard rock Marc Jacobs lingerie with tights in Vogue photos
In the newly shared photo, Irina Shayk and Mona Tougaard sit close together on a black leather sofa, both wearing Marc Jacobs satin lingerie and sheer pastel tights. Shayk appears in a champagne-toned bra and matching briefs, while Tougaard wears a mint-green set.
Both models showcase glowing skin and wet-textured hair that complements the clean studio backdrop. Photographer Carin Backoff captured the intimate portrait, while Vogue France’s Fashion & Image Director-at-Large, Alastair McKimm, directed the styling for the shoot. Makeup artist Jamal Scott and hairstylist Ryan Mitchell completed the overall look together.
This shoot marks another milestone in Thomson-Jonville’s first year at Vogue France. Since taking on the role, she has highlighted an impressive lineup of cover stars, including Gisele Bündchen, Vittoria Ceretti, Joan Smalls, Anok Yai, Kim Kardashian, and Miley Cyrus.
Mona Tougaard and Irina Shayk also bring strong ’90s energy to the cover of Vogue France’s December/January 2026 issue. On the left, Tougaard wears a silk satin blouse, a silk necktie, and a leather miniskirt by Dior. On the right, Shayk appears in a Check’n’Dior silk blouse tied at the neck and cotton-denim trousers, also from Dior. Alastair McKimm handled the styling for the shoot.
The issue will be available on newsstands and online starting November 26.
