Kevin Hart found himself in the hot seat this week when he sat down for an interview with Ziwe Fumudoh. During their chat, Ziwe questioned Kevin about his controversial upcoming appearance at the Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia.

In case you missed it, Kevin is among several comedians currently facing backlash over their scheduled appearance at the Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia.
Comedians, including Kevin, Dave Chappelle, and Louis C.K., are set to perform and are reportedly being paid the big bucks for doing so. Their decision to take part, however, has caused controversy, with critics citing Saudi Arabia’s human rights record. Many comedians have condemned their peers for signing up, and Shane Gill even turned his offer down.
With all of this going on, it’s no wonder that Ziwe – who is known for adding a little sass to her interviews – chose to bring the matter up. “How much money is enough?” Ziwe asked Kevin, who is estimated to have a net worth of $400 million.
“I mean, the money isn’t the reward at this point,” Kevin replied. To that, Ziwe asked: “Well, speaking of, how is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during this time of year?”
Kevin took the query in his stride, and avoided any awkwardness with his response. “You know, I personally think it’s great,” he answered without batting an eyelid.
Unsurprisingly, viewers had a lot to say about the clip. “Ziwe cracked her knuckles before this one,” one person said in the YouTube comments. “This is literally the roast of Kevin Hart, but it’s just Ziwe.”
“This is genuinely the first Kevin Hart interview where Kevin was not able to control the situation to make himself the funniest person in the room,” someone else said. “Ziwe had this man’s number from the minute he sat down.”
