The longstanding feud between Eddie Murphy and Bill Cosby is apparently not over. The two comedians have been at odds for years, and Eddie’s latest stunt won’t mend any fences between the two. Bill “will be furious,” according to an insider, about Eddie’s recent mockery of him.
A new scene at the end of the Netflix documentary Being Eddie, shows the Beverly Hills Cop star taking a shot at the disgraced star of The Cosby Show. In the scene, Eddie pulls out a puppet of Bill, along with two others of Richard Pryor and Paul Mooney.
He picks up Richard and Bill to mock the man who famously played Cliff Huxtable, showing how he would react to questions about whether he stuffed pills into chocolate. Bill was previously on trial for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting women. After being initially found guilty, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court set him free in 2021.
Bill Cosby is “confined to living like a recluse,” a source says

Bill Cosby is no longer be behind bars. That hasn’t stopped The Nutty Professor star from taking shots at the man once dubbed America’s dad. Eddie’s puppet prank is not something the former Jell-O spokesperson will take kindly to.
“Bill will undoubtedly get wind of this and will be fuming when he sees it,” a source told RadarOnline. However, Eddie is unlikely to get any rebuttal from Bill about the stunt. That’s because these days Bill is reportedly “confined to living like a recluse.” As such, he might not have the public forum to retaliate against the comedian. The insider says he’s powerless against these shots, driving him crazy.
The feud between Eddie and Bill dates back to a phone call they had years ago. Bill apparently berated him for his expletive-riddled humour in his shows. Eddie rose to fame for his salty and borderline offensive humor as a stand-up comic, notably hitting it big with shows like Eddie Murphy Delirious.
His documentary pulls no punches, even talking about how he thought late actor Yul Brynner had once propositioned him to have sex with his wife. Being Eddie is now out on Netflix.
