The latest episode of Speed Goes Pro features IShowSpeed giving pro wrestling a shot. Speed was tasked with impressing WWE Superstar Randy Orton by putting on a worthy fight against NXT’s Anthony Luke. The episode witnesses Speed training with WWE Superstars Randy Orton and Sheamus, NXT legend Myles Borne, and trainers Fit Finlay, Matt Bloom, and Lince Dorado.

The intense training session included learning the ropes (literally), taking bumps, and even mastering the moonsault and crossbody. The physical grind left him bruised, but Speed impressed the tough critics with his athleticism and charisma.

Then, Orton was looking to test IShowSpeed’s toughness by hitting him with a steel chair during the pre-match training session.

Despite losing to Anthony Luke in his debut match, Speed gained a fan in Orton. The 14-time world champion was rooting for IShowSpeed throughout the match. Giving the popular streamer a glowing review, The Viper said, “Mentally, he’s there. Physically, he’s got everything it takes. If he wants to stick with this journey… He could one day be a full-time WWE superstar”.

Reactions to IShowSpeed and the world champion’s viral moment flooded social media. “Speed could’ve been the greatest athlete of all time, but chose to entertain us as the greatest streamer of all time. There’s nothing this man can’t do,” one fan wrote.

“Randy Orton cracking Speed with a chair as a lesson feels like the most on brand welcome gift WWE could possibly offer,” another comment read.

“If you’re training with The Viper, just expect the chair,” a third fan commented.
