Fans Call Out Taylor Swift for Travis Kelce-Centric Eras Tour Docuseries

Disney+ has released a trailer for The End of an Era, the upcoming Taylor Swift docuseries. However, her fans have complaints. This latest glimpse into the singer’s life behind the scenes left Swifties upset. Some are unhappy with the fact that the docuseries heavily focuses on her now fiancé, Travis Kelce.

Taylor Swift fans aren’t happy with Travis-centric docuseries

After the release of the trailer for Taylor Swift’s upcoming docuseries titled The End of an Era, fans seem disappointed. They are seemingly annoyed at how much the series might focus on Tay-vis, rather than just Swift’s Eras tour journey. Around halfway through the trailer, Taylor’s mother, Andrea, says to the cameras, “Travis Kelce. He brings a lot of happiness…,” as a shot of Kelce at the Eras tour plays. Further is a scene of Taylor speaking to Travis on the phone while in her car, listing the similarities between them. “You’ve got teammates, I got teammates,” Kelce says, followed by Taylor responding, “You’ve got Coach Reid, I’ve got my mom.”

With more footage of the couple together throughout the rest of the trailer, some fans remained unpleased. One fan replied to an X post of a still from the trailer, writing, “That’s what your focus on? Travis?” The couple who announced their engagement earlier this year started dating sometime in the second half of 2023. At an Eras tour show in London’s Wembley Stadium in June 2024, Kelce also made an appearance on stage in a black tux during one of her performances. Additionally, Taylor promoted her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast in October, just before the album came out.

The fan outrage also seemed to show when fans who ordered signed copies of the album received CDs with both Taylor and Travis’ signatures on them. A fan took to X to reply to a picture of the signed copies, writing, “we are not f**king fans of your boyfriend we are fans of YOU and YOU are making the music and the money but you’re letting him into your career bc of your f*****s rose colored glasses.”
