Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has spent years confronting consequences tied to his conduct and associations.
The ex-prince lost his titles, stepped away from royal duties, and left Royal Lodge under pressure. His long connection to Jeffrey Epstein continues to drive fresh scrutiny. Now, a growing chorus of insiders claims he may face what they call his “final humiliation.”
Rising pressure now fuels a push that targets the core of his future freedom.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is being urged to surrender his passport

Radar Online reported that senior figures view the newest development as Andrew’s “final humiliation.” They’re allegedly urging the now-commoner to surrender his passport. They fear he may try to flee if the situation deepens.
Concerns grew after emails from Epstein’s estate surfaced in Washington. The House Oversight Committee began reviewing those communications. London’s Metropolitan Police also began reassessing the conduct of Andrew’s former protection officers. A source familiar with the review said, “What’s emerging suggests Andrew’s involvement with Epstein went far beyond what he has acknowledged.”
Worries continue to build around him. “There’s real worry that, if the pressure increases, he could try to get out of the country and disappear – and many feel he needs to surrender his passport to police now.”
Another insider echoed that concern. “Andrew now needs to be viewed as a potential flight risk. Advisers around him know that scrutiny on his links to Epstein is only going to intensify, and there are fears he could quietly move abroad if safeguards are not put in place.”
Officials describe private conversations that reflect those fears. One source explained, “There’s a sense that, if the door were left open, Andrew might mirror other ex-royals who slipped off to the Middle East when scrutiny mounted. Some within the family wouldn’t necessarily oppose that…”
The Met opened an examination into whether Andrew directed his former protection officers to gather compromising information about Virginia Giuffre years ago. The force confirmed the review and stated, “Following recent media reporting on the actions of officers in relation to this matter, we are considering whether any further assessment or review is necessary.”
Investigators already interviewed two former officers. American lawmakers also asked Andrew to sit for a transcribed interview about Epstein. However, they cannot subpoena him.
One insider summed up the moment. “Andrew is facing overwhelming pressure. Each fresh revelation pulls him deeper into a narrative he is desperate to distance himself from, yet he has nowhere to go.”
