President Donald Trump is notorious for his offensive comments. Just recently, he made headlines when he used a derogatory term to a reporter. When asked about the Epstein Files, he fired back at the female journalist, telling her to be “quiet, piggy.” This engagement between a sitting president and a member of the press was shocking. His behavior showed that he was not interested in having a respectful conversation.
That is just a recent example of Trump’s questionable behavior. This is the same president who accused John McCain of not being a successful military member because he was a prisoner of war. He has shown time and time again that he is not afraid to put others down.
Now, he finds himself in hot water again over a comment made about a murdered member of the National Guard. Instead of providing support to her family, he used the opportunity to brag about himself.
Donald Trump spoke of his West Virginia “margins” when asked about National Guard member Sarah Beckstrom’s funeral

Specialist Sarah Backstrom was serving in the National Guard when she tragically died following a shooting in West Virginia. Her military colleague, Aaron Wolf, was also shot. He is in critical condition. They were ambushed the evening before Thanksgiving.
Trump addressed the murder of Sarah during his annual Thanksgiving call to U.S. Service Members, reported PEOPLE. On Sarah, he said she was a “highly respected, young, magnificent person,” adding, “She’s no longer with us. She’s looking down at us right now.”
Following his call to the U.S. Military on Thanksgiving, he took questions from the press at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. A report inquired whether he planned to attend Sarah’s funeral, and his answer has put him in hot water yet again.
“I hadn’t thought about it yet, but it certainly is something I could conceive of,” he said, instantly going into one of his infamous rants. “I love West Virginia. You know I won West Virginia by one of the biggest margins of any president anywhere.”
It didn’t end there. He added, “These are great people. I love the people of West Virginia. I love the people of our country, but I haven’t given it any thought, but it sounds like something I could do.”
