Steve McBee Jr. of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys is planning big things for the holidays on their Missouri farm. It may not be a typical holiday season for the family in the wake of Steve McBee Sr.’s sentence, but the family was committed to celebrating with him before he had to serve his time.
Steven McBee Jr. has looked to the future
In an interview with The Daily Dish, the eldest McBee brother shared their family’s Thanksgiving plans. They made the most of the celebration before Steve Sr. leaves to serve two years in federal prison on December 1st.
He shared they had “such good holiday traditions” and a big get-together for the whole family with his brothers Jesse McBee, Cole McBee, and Brayden McBee.
Steven shared that for Thanksgiving, they always “play a little football together, have a big family cookout, and then, you know, Christmas here on the way, we always do a Christmas Eve, a big family cookout, and open one gift,” the rancher and farmer shared. “So, it’s pretty neat.”
And despite things looking a little different this year for the family, they are keeping traditions as best they can and focusing on the farm. It’s also the first holiday for Jesse and Alli McBee and Cole and Kacie Adkinson’s daughters.
Steven is staying positive. He also looks forward to ringing in the New Year with his official girlfriend, who has a mom’s seal of approval. He shared that he “got an early start” on his New Year’s resolutions by finding a girlfriend in Allie Eklund.
“Other than that, I have some big goals for my fitness side of things,” Steven shared. “And then really just continue to pour into my family and continue to pour into quality time spent with them and see how this ride goes.”
It’s a pretty pragmatic approach considering how things went in 2025. Achievable goals and going day by day is always a good plan.
The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys is currently streaming on Peacock.
