Today’s the day! Steve McBee Sr. from McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys must report to prison to serve a 24-month sentence by 2 pm. The feds caught on to his multimillion-dollar crop insurance fraud scheme, and now, he’ll have to face his punishment. Ahead of his sentencing, Steve has been planning his last meal, and it sounds like it will be a dinner fit for a cowboy.

Steve has spent his final days of freedom talking to the press and working with lawyers to seek a pardon from President Donald Trump. He’s hopeful that he won’t have to serve his entire sentence, but in reality, he still has to turn himself in to the feds this afternoon.
Ahead of the big day, Steve spoke with People. He said that he would prepare a huge Thanksgiving feast for his family as part of his final hurrah.
“I like to cook,” he said. “I always cook very large meals for everybody, so everybody’s coming to my house, even my brothers and sister and extended family. I’m going to smoke a prime rib on the Traeger and then cook the turkey.”
Once that was out of the way, Steve shifted his focus to his last meal. What is he going to sink his teeth into before he’s subjected to the horrors of prison food?
“I love steak,” he told the outlet. “Obviously, I’m a cattle guy, so that’s my favorite meal: steak and potatoes. And I can eat potatoes any way — I like them baked, mashed, fried.”
Steak and potatoes for the final meal sounds pretty on brand for the McBee Dynasty’s patriarch. It’s also on-brand that he’s already anticipating an early release. With the help of fellow reality TV felon, Todd Chrisley, Steve has his fingers crossed that he won’t end up serving his full sentence.
“The best case scenario is I would get a pardon or get home early, like in nine or 10 months,” Steve said.
