Former Indianapolis Colts punter and ESPN host Pat McAfee revealed over the weekend that he and his wife, Samantha, are expecting their second child. In an Instagram post, McAfee shared that the couple is preparing to welcome a baby boy in June 2026 after a challenging IVF journey.

“The path that led us here was filled with needles, hormones, countless appointments, and more emotion than we ever knew two hearts could hold,” McAfee wrote. He added that IVF “pushed my body to its limits and stretched our spirits in ways we never expected.” He then announced that they are “overjoyed to share that we are expecting a baby boy.”

Travis Kelce jumped into the comments with a trademark burst of enthusiasm: “Let’s goooo!!! Congratulations!!!”

The tight end’s simple but spirited reaction stood out as fans, colleagues, and friends flooded the announcement with messages of support.

Kelce’s celebratory message comes amid a turbulent stretch for the Kansas City Chiefs. They dropped to 6-6 after a narrow 31-28 loss to Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. Despite a late push, the Chiefs couldn’t overcome Dallas’ explosive offense, leaving their playoff hopes under increasing pressure.

Even with the team’s inconsistency, Kelce remains a crucial part of the offense. Through 12 games, he has recorded 59 catches for 719 yards and five touchdowns, already surpassing last season’s end-zone tally. Kansas City Chiefs now prepare for a must-win matchup in Week 14. They will return home to face the Houston Texans on December 7 on “Sunday Night Football.” The game offers the Chiefs a chance to climb back above .500 and regain momentum as the playoff race tightens.
