Actress and singer Miley Cyrus is engaged to her boyfriend Maxx Morando. The couple has been dating for four years. The engagement came after rumors at the Avatar: Fire And Ash premiere on December 1 in Los Angeles.
Miley’s engagement ring was first spotted on November 23 in an Instagram birthday post. The “Flowers” singer’s rep, Francesca Consulting, confirmed jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche custom-made the engagement ring.
The impressive cushion-cut diamond rests on a thick, 14-karat yellow gold band.

In Miley’s Instagram post, she wrote, “33 is already burning bright thanks to the warmth of your sweet birthday wishes. All I want this year is more laughs with the people who give me the little smile lines that are starting to show up. I love you all.”
Page Six confirmed the engagement news on Tuesday, December 2, however the singer-songwriter’s reps did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Maxx is a drummer for the band Liily and previously played with The Regrettes. Miley was previously married to actor Liam Hemsworth from December 2018 to January 2020.
The couple’s relationship was first publicized in November 2021 when the Hannah Montana actress included Maxx in a fashion show Instagram post. The next month, Miley and Maxx were seen at Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party in Miami during commercials.
The two were photographed kissing passionately in April 2022 in Los Angeles, then spotted at a Versace fashion show in March 2023. Maxx accompanied Miley at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
He congratulated her when she received Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo performance honors for Flowers. Photos of the couple circulated after a Future Islands concert in September 2024. They were seen attending a 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar party and were photographed together last June.
