Katy Perry enjoyed a date night in Tokyo with Justin Trudeau, just ahead of her Lifetimes Tour concert in Japan on December 3. The couple was photographed taking a stroll through Asakusa, a popular tourist destination, before heading to the Asakusa Sumo Stable Annex restaurant for a meal (via Page Six).

Perry rocked a brown leather jacket, paired with tan cargo pants. She completed the look with a black face mask and a beige baseball cap. Trudeau also sported a comfortable look, wearing a black coat paired with blue denim. The former Canadian Prime Minister also wore a baseball cap to complete the casual look.

Katy Perry is currently in Tokyo for the Japan leg of her ongoing Lifetimes Tour. The “Dark Horse” hitmaker is performing at the Saitama Super Arena on December 3. The tour is all set to conclude this week in Abu Dhabi on December 7.

Perry first sparked dating rumors with Trudeau in late July when the pair were spotted on a date in Montreal, enjoying a walk at Mount Royal Park. Although they initially kept it lowkey, political sources later confirmed in October that things had turned serious between the pair.

Speaking with People, an insider shared, “This relationship is already fairly serious and definitely moving in that direction. They are very much a couple and have been seeing each other as often as possible.” The couple made their first public appearance on October 25, when they were snapped exiting the Crazy Horse Paris.

Trudeau and Perry’s relationship comes shortly after the latter called it quits with her ex-fiancé, Orlando Bloom. Meanwhile, the former Canadian PM separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire, in 2023, after 18 years of marriage.
