Fans call out Kim Kardashian for her decoration

On Tuesday, the ‘SKIMS’ founder took to Instagram stories to share with fans a glimpse of her Christmas decorations. In the clip she shared, her hallway was packed with numerous illuminated Christmas trees, covered in artificial snow. While giving the tour of her decorations, she said, “OK, we just finished decorating for the holidays. I can’t even begin to explain to you what this smells like and feels like.” Further sharing her thoughts on how the decoration turned out, she added, “It’s pretty insane. Look at the hallway.”

While many fans praised Kardashian’s Christmas décor this year, others clearly didn’t feel the same and criticized her for taking it too far. A user wrote, “Looks empty to me. Like a loveless home. But wtf do i know.” Another mentioned, “I’ll never get it, why a house full of trees?” A third user added, “Her house looks like a Christmas tree store.” Another penned, “Meanwhile people can’t afford food. If tone deaf was a person.” Other reactions also included, “Shes practically a home depot” and “It’s looks the same every year, sorry Kim.”

In 2024, the Kardashian-Jenner family opted for a more intimate Christmas Eve party, opting out of their usual lavish celebration. In an interview with Vogue, Kardashian explained why they chose to celebrate Christmas differently this time. She said, “Just because we have a lot of construction going on, we’re doing a really family intimate one that I’m really excited about. Still dressing up to the nines, because that’s what we do.”
