Kylie Kelce gave her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, a sweet shout-out on the latest episode of her podcast Not Gonna Lie. The NGL host filmed an interesting episode with various animals, including otters, for FAFO Episode 2 at the Philadelphia Zoo. She paused at the otter exhibit and gave the Kansas City Chiefs TE a shout-out.
Kylie Kelce brings otters to give a shout-out to Travis Kelce
Kylie Kelce filmed with otters at the Philadelphia Zoo and gave a sweet shout-out to “uncle” Travis Kelce. The mother of four suggested, “Maybe we can take a pit stop at the otters. Shoutout to uncle Trav.” The video cuts to Kylie feeding an enthusiastic bunch of otters.
Kylie was fascinated and amused as the otters started screeching in unison. She remarked, “They are so loud, it’s impressive.” The zookeeper informed her that otters can reach 119 decibels, to which Kylie shared, “Alright, Trav, that one’s for you. Thanks for getting me into the otters.” The mom-of-four excused herself, saying that if she didn’t leave, she would have stayed there “forever.”
Travis and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, had previously discussed their collective love for otters on the latter’s appearance on the New Heights podcast. Swift revealed, “All I really use the internet for is sourdough and when Travis shows me videos of otters on his Instagram algorithm.”
Travis confessed, “I want a wild otter so bad. I just want to find these little creatures and be friends with them.” When his brother Jason Kelce asked, “Aren’t otters wild?” Travis immediately jumped in to educate him. Swift interjected and disclosed, “He wants one specifically whose life he saved. It is a really specific type of otter he is looking for.” Swift added that she also wanted an otter.
Following the episode’s massive success, Jason disclosed that almost every zoo and aquarium in America that housed otters had invited him and Travis to visit.
However, Travis clarified his specific condition to meet otters. He reiterated, “I don’t want to go to the zoo — although I will, not that I won’t — I don’t want to go to the zoo and meet the otters. I want to meet one in the wild [that] comes swimming over to me or needs help somehow and screams or screeches for me to help it.” (via US Weekly)
