Jason Kelce’s Blunt Label for Chiefs’ Rocky 2025 Season

The Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff spot is getting out of reach. 6-6 and hanging by a thread in 10th, the Chiefs’ postseason dream might not be actualized this year. Although the team’s inconsistency and lack of finesse seem to be the core issues, Jason Kelce believes that the Chiefs are going through one of the unluckiest seasons.

Jason Kelce has this to say about Kansas City Chiefs’ 2025 season

Jason Kelce recently shared his insights on the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2025 season. The NFL legend has called the ongoing season “The Most Unluckiest in Recent Memory”. With a mind-boggling stat of +73 scoring differential, the Kansas City Chiefs is the first team to not have a winning record with such a big point advantage. Despite possessing athletic prowess, the Chiefs have lost every game by one score.

Agreeing with his elder brother, Kansas City Chiefs Tight end Travis Kelce admitted they’re extremely close to snapping the streak; all they need to do is ace the finish.

We’re this f***ing close. You look at our offense, you look at Pat Mahomes’ production this year, you look at the top of the league, you look at our defense in terms of points allowed. I know some of the other stats aren’t all the way up there, but at the same time, man, we’re holding teams at the right moments”, Kelce said on New Heights (timestamp: 26:00).

In other situations, we’re just not scoring enough. And it’s tough, man. It’s tough to be a part of this reality right now,”  Travis further added.

Despite believing that luck isn’t on the Chiefs’ side this season, Jason still thinks that the Chiefs might come through since the AFC doesn’t have a standout team.

“I don’t know that anybody [other than the Chiefs] has shown a ridiculously better version of football than any of the other teams in the AFC,” Jason argued. “Who is the complete team? I don’t really see one. And it seems like it’s up for grabs. And when it’s like that, if you’re an AFC team, all you want to do is get into that dance”, the former NFL center said.
