90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9 recently wrapped up after an eventful season. Season 9 was filmed with ups and downs for the eight featured couples. While some couples came out strong, other relationships ultimately couldn’t survive. As a result, some cast members ended Season 9 as winners, while others finished as losers.

As every 90 Day Fiancé season does, Happily Ever After? Season 9 featured both winners and losers. While some cast members came out of Season 9 better than ever, others weren’t as lucky. Ultimately, four cast members ended Season 9 as winners, while two finished as losers.
Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina – Winners
Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina had one of the happiest story lines of Season 9. At the beginning of the season, the couple decided to get a second opinion on their fertility issues. Julia discovered that she could have kids, although doctors recommended that she get a procedure to increase her chances of conceiving. Julia was hesitant to the idea of trying to conceive at first, but she eventually changed her mind.
At the end of the season, Brandon and Julia discovered they were expecting. This was one of the happiest moments of the season, as Brandon and Julia had gone through a lot to get to this point. At the Tell All, the couple shared the happy news with their parents and fellow cast members. The idea of children initially divided Brandon and Julia, but the two are now closer than ever. As a result of their tremendous growth, Brandon and Julia ended Season 9 as winners.
Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya – Winners
Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya are another couple who ultimately came out of Season 9 as winners. The couples story line this season centered around their move to Miami with their daughter Mylah. Jovi and Yara filmed the majority of their scenes with fellow cast members Elizabeth Castravet, Andrei Castravet, Loren Brovarnik, and Alexei Brovarnik. While the other two couples often fought, Jovi and Yara found themselves caught in the middle.
Yara also opened her dog accessory business this season, which was a huge accomplishment for her. She even surprised Jovi with a new dog Mila, who she used to help advertise the brand. Between the lack of drama and Yara’s successful business ventures, she and Jovi came out of Season 9 as true winners.
Gino Palazzolo – Loser
Unfortunately, Gino Palazzolo was one of two cast members to end Season 9 as a loser. During the season premiere, Gino admitted to kicking his wife, Jasmine Pineda, out of the house. Gino felt that Jasmine had broken the rules of their open marriage, despite Jasmine claiming that she hadn’t done so. He then decided to go to Las Vegas to meet Natalie, another woman he’d been talking to. Gino wasn’t completely honest with Jasmine or Natalie, which quickly landed him in trouble.
Later in the season, Gino brought Natalie to his cousin Dana’s birthday party. Jasmine started a fight with Natalie, which resulted in Natalie cutting things off with Gino. While Jasmine attempted to reconcile with Gino, he wasn’t interested. Jasmine ended up going on to have a baby with Matt Branistareanu, and later entered into a relationship with him. Gino, on the other hand, ended the season alone.
Kara Rojer – Loser
Kara Rojer also ended Season 9 as a loser, after leaving her husband, Guillermo Rojer. At the beginning of the season, Kara revealed that she and Guillermo were having some marriage troubles. The couple then went on a retreat to hopefully work through things, although it didn’t go as planned. Kara ultimately ended up telling Guillermo that he wasn’t her person, after he had made several efforts to repair things between them.
At the Tell All, Kara and Guillermo announced that they were still separated. Kara seemed to be sending Guillermo mixed signals, despite him admitting that he still loved her. While Guillermo gave Kara his all, she ultimately fell short.
