Amid rumors of possible divorce, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have listed their huge Hamptons home for sale on December 3 for $21 million.
After previously pulling the modern farmhouse off the market in July 2024, the home is again for sale. The five-bed/seven-bath estate was the setting for their TLC reality show The Baldwins. The show ran one season and was overwhelmingly panned by critics and viewers alike.
Despite once claiming his seven kids would go “crazy” if they ever sold the sprawling home, Alec’s taking that risk.
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin previously said they “never want to leave”
“We keep coming back here because the kids are very happy. They love it here,” Alec told the New York Times in August. “When I [ask the kids], ‘Want to sell the house?’, they go crazy. It’s a kid’s home that I never want to leave.” Though the kids might not want to leave their home, I can see why Alec might want to leave Hilaria.
Alec first purchased the massive property in 1995 for $1.75 million. At that time, it was considered a less desirable area of the Hamptons. But over time, he grew to “love” it.
He expanded the property in 1996, adding a 20-by-50-foot pool in the backyard. Following his marriage to Hilaria in 2012, the couple added another 1,400 square feet of space.
The huge estate includes five acres of land and overlooks three acres of agricultural reserve. There’s certainly room for prospective buyers to expand, including space for a potential guest house.
The house itself includes a library, movie theater and wine-tasting room. In addition to the pool, the huge backyard features a fenced vegetable garden and a magical children’s playhouse.
The “For Sale” sign went up amid rumors that the couple is splitting due to his wife’s newfound independence following her stint on Dancing with the Stars.
