George Clooney Jokes About His Batman vs. Ben Affleck’s

George Clooney recently revealed why he thinks he’s the ‘Best Batman‘ over Ben Affleck. During a conversation on the New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce asked the actor to rank his brother Jason Kelce as Batman. Clooney, while commenting on Jason’s Batman picture, subtly bragged about being the best superhero and jokingly took a jab at Affleck’s portrayal.

George Clooney says he was the best Batman for this reason

In a conversation on the New Heights podcast, George Clooney initially commented on Jason Kelce’s funny fat Batman picture. He revealed that Jason could be considered one of the bad guys. He said, “I think they remembered that picture coming out. You could be one of the bad guys in the film.”

He braggingly asserted, “By the way, uh you and I all both of you and I know that I was the best Batman. You know that, right? Absolutely. I mean, there’s no absolute best. I mean, Ben Affleck, come on. I mean.”

Clooney believes he was the best superhero because he was the only one to sport the rubber nipples. Travis further revealed that the nipples weren’t a noticeable part of the costume. The 64-year-old answered that it did look weird on one occasion. “When it got colder, it was like two Dunlap tires coming out.”

In another conversation, George Clooney was asked which form of entertainment he should be known for. He replied, “Well, I think it’s Batman & Robin, don’t you?” He reiterated his stance, jokingly, that he was the best Batman. He said, “I make that joke a lot, I’ll say I’m the best Batman, and you can see people’s eyes just – they go ‘How can you say that!?”

Batman & Robin was released in June 1997 and was originally set to receive a follow-up titled Batman Unchained/Batman Triumphant. However, the film’s underwhelming box office performance and poor reception ultimately led to the future installment being scrapped.
