Caitlin O’Connor confirms that she and Joe Manganiello have moved to their hometown
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Joe Manganiello’s fiancée, Caitlin O’Connor, confirmed that they are leaving Los Angeles. The couple has decided to move back to their hometown, and have now settled in Mount Lebanon, a suburb in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. O’Connor has discussed the relocation, calling it a “recent move.”
“I mean, L.A. has been both of our homes for over 20 years,” O’Connor shares about her and Manganiello. “I was born in L.A., but raised in Pittsburgh, so we’re both from the same hometown,” she continued. O’Connor further reflected on how the couple bonded over their shared connection of growing up in the same town.
“That’s what we really connect on, you know, we share the same upbringing, the same hometown knowledge. And that’s what really connects us as a couple,” the television star mused. “So it’s beautiful to be back home together,” she added.
O’Connor also revealed that their decision to leave LA was not a sudden one, saying, “We were thinking about it for a while.” She also gushed about their new home, sharing how “safe” she feels in the neighbourhood.
The television host further explained that although work often takes her and Manganiello to Los Angeles and New York City, Pittsburgh will remain their primary home. She shared her excitement for a “big family celebration” in the holidays as they enjoy the snow in their new home.
The relocation comes a month after Manganiello and O’Connor announced their engagement in October 2025. The couple had first sparked romance rumors in September 2023, shortly after Manganiello’s separation from Sofia Vergara. The couple confirmed their relationship later that year, making their red carpet debut at the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) Gala in December 2023.
