Blake Lively’s Sister Teases Uncertain Holiday Plans Amid Lawsuit

Christmas may be just a couple of weeks away, but Blake Lively‘s sister has yet to plan her schedule for the holidays. The 38-year-old “Gossip Girl” alum, who filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni last year, enjoys a lot of her free time with her half-sibling, Robyn Lively, and her family. However, Robyn’s recent comments revealed that she isn’t sure about Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, spending Christmas with them this year.

Robyn Lively graced the 2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball with her family on December 5, where she spoke to PEOPLE about several topics, including her plans for Christmas. The 53-year-old “Teen Witch” actor mentioned that she and her sister’s family catch up several times a year to celebrate various occasions. She also stated that the two families “spend a lot of time” together every year.

Nevertheless, Robyn detailed that most get-togethers between the two families were planned instantly, not weeks in advance. As a result, she still isn’t sure whether Blake and Reynolds will join them for the Christmas celebrations later this year. “Oh my gosh. We never know our plans. But when we do, it’s like we’re up and out like, ‘Come now, let’s go!…” Meanwhile, husband, Bart Johnson, added, “They [Blake and Ryan] love Christmas. We all love Christmas so much.”

Robyn’s eldest daughter, Kate, also accompanied her to the 2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball. While speaking to PEOPLE, Kate mentioned how she views Blake and her husband‘s daughters as her own “sisters,” especially since she only has two younger brothers. “They’re my best friends. I only have brothers, and they’re just like my little sisters,” Kate stated. “So it’s just the sweetest relationship I have with them.”

Considering the strong bonding between the two families and their shared love for Christmas, it’s hard to imagine that they won’t spend the holidays together. However, Robyn mentioned that most of their meetings were set up instantaneously. Therefore, it appears that there is sufficient time for the two families to work out a plan to spend Christmas together.
