Members of the United States Congress have summoned Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to testify regarding his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. Royal watchers seriously doubt the former prince will ever again step foot in the US.
Facing mounting accusations that he’s avoiding Congress, word is that the ex-royal is “on the run” from US lawmakers. After being stripped of all his royal titles, honors and even his home, Andrew has been cordially invited to appear in front of the House Oversight Committee.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly has “a fear of facing questioning in America” over Jeffrey Epstein

The deadline for Andrew to respond is Thursday, December 11. And then what? Not only is Andrew not an American citizen, but he’s a member of the British royal family. Though he’s in disgrace, it’s unlikely the British royals would voluntarily turn over one of their own.
Congressman Suhas Subramanyam accused the former Duke of York of “hiding from us … If he is hoping that the story will just go away by ignoring us and being silent, he will be sorely disappointed … We [will] continue to pursue this.”
Though Andrew’s name appears repeatedly in the Epstein files, the Palace purports that he neither witnessed nor participated in any criminal conduct. However, many in Congress believe there is “zero chance” that Andrew will ever enter the US again, much less stand before any committee.
“There’s a feeling he will die without ever stepping foot back in America,” a source told Radar Online. “That’s how deep Andrew’s fear of facing questioning in America appears to run.”
As Palace advisors remain mum on the request, “Andrew sees no legal obligation to go,” another source shared.
“Crossing the Atlantic is basically stepping into a political minefield,” an insider claimed. “Andrew will never do it.”
While Andrew cowers in his Royal Lodge home, refusing to leave, even his own countrymen want him to face the music.
“This isn’t going away,” another insider said. “Whether Andrew talks to Congress or not, the questions will keep coming.”
