Ella Purnell and Zoe Saldana matched each other’s fashion sense from thousands of miles away on December 8. For the Los Angeles Premiere of her show Fallout Season 2, Purnell wore a minidress from Erdem. Coincidentally, Saldana donned a similar lacy gown for the Avatar: Fire and Ash China Premiere. Not only were the dresses from the same fashion house, but also from the same collection. In fact, Purnell’s dress appeared to be a shorter version of the gown Saldana was wearing.

Ella Purnell showed up at the Los Angeles premiere of Fallout Season 2 in an off-the-shoulder ivory minidress from Erdem’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. The dress, look 10 from the collection, featured a structured corset bodice with visible boning and a black botanical embroidery at the center, giving it a vintage feel.
Long ribbon ties hung from the neckline, waist, and skirt, adding movement and a deconstructed look. The lacy skirt was short and slightly flared, featuring floral motifs. Meanwhile, the side panels added extra shape to the hips, reinforcing the couture-inspired silhouette. Purnell completed the look with Alevi Milano Lola black satin pumps, minimal jewelry, and warm-toned makeup that matched her auburn hair.
Zoe Saldana, who was attending the China premiere of her upcoming film Avatar: Fire and Ash, wore look 41 from Erdem’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Her gown had a structured corset bodice like Purnell’s minidress. This dress flared slightly outwards, with the skirt reaching the floor. Its front featured several black appliqué designs, as well as some numbers.
Saldana paired the dress with Saint Laurent Chandelle Sandals in satin crepe. She kept the jewelry minimal with some Cartier rings, such as the Libre Polymorph Metamorphose Ring, the Gold Clash De Cartier Ring, the Gold Love Unlimited Ring, and the Gold and Diamond Love Ring, as per Star Style. Mara Roszak styled the Emilia Pérez actress’s hair in loose, natural waves.
