Zach Woods is the latest in a long line of Hollywood actors hitting back at Quentin Tarantino. This comes after a series of distasteful comments by the acclaimed filmmaker.
Quentin’s comments about actor Paul Dano were met with particular furore, after his remarks on The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast. He praised Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood as one of his favorite movies of the century. He cited Paul’s performance as the film’s “flaw”.
Zach Woods Accused Quentin Tarantino of “Ripping off Asian Directors”
While not frequently as mentioned by Paul’s contemporaries, Quentin received significant backlash from the film community for his defense of convicted sexual predator Roman Polanski, as well as his hypocrisy in accusing The Hunger Games author Suzanne Collins for allegedly ripping off the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale.
This was not a problem for The Office star and comedian Zach, however – with the actor taking to Instagram to provide Quentin with a well-rounded roast. Thankfully, Fauxmoi reposted on Reddit.
Jokingly apologizing to the Pulp Fiction filmmaker, Zach expressed remorse for poking fun, stating “I’m literally just a nobody, and you’re literally one of the masters of … ripping of Asian directors, you b*th!”
“You rip off everyone, from Hong Kong auteurs to Bill Maher’s barber!” Zach continued. “You look weird as sh*t, and that’s coming from a guy who looks like a bird had sex with another, more tired bird.”
Then Zach went on to note Quentin for his defense of Roman Polanski, claiming in a 2018 radio interview that the shamed director’s 13-year-old victim “wanted to have it”, and “It was statutory rape. He had sex with a minor, all right. That’s not rape.”
“I knew you were a dingus, but I didn’t know you were a legitimate statutory rape apologist,” Zach added. He then compared the 62-year-old to former Fox News host and conservative commentator Megyn Kelly, calling him the “Megyn Kelly of guys who look like a turtle”. She also received recent backlash for her apologetic remarks over convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, questioning if the disgraced former financier could be described as a “pedophile”.
