George and Amal Clooney‘s marriage talks have made headlines once again. In the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast, the Hollywood star confirmed to Travis Kelce that he has not fought with his wife in their 10 years of marriage. Following that, a source close to the couple claimed that the revelation doesn’t look like a “sign of harmony” but “distance.”
For those unversed, the 64-year-old actor got married to the human rights lawyer in 2014. They have twins- daughter, Ella, and son, Alexander.
George and Amal Clooney’s marriage feels ‘more like a partnership of convenience,’ per source
George and Amal Clooney’s relationship dynamic has reportedly been questioned after he appeared on the “New Heights” podcast. On December 9, Travis and Jason Kelce released the new episode, featuring the “Ocean’s Eleven” star. In it, he revealed that he never argued with his wife.
Travis further questioned if he was lying. In response, Clooney said, “No, I’m not lying, Travis.” Since then, multiple sources have shared their thoughts on this type of marriage. They reportedly labeled it as “unhealthy,” according to RadarOnline. “Healthy couples disagree, and work through things. When you never do, it starts to look less like a marriage and more like two polite roommates,” an insider said.
Furthermore, another source revealed that the couple’s inner circle allegedly claimed that the duo “barely see each other.” “The marriage feels more like a partnership of convenience,” they added. According to them, Amal and George’s “passion” might have faded, acting like “close pals” and not as “a long-time married couple.”
Meanwhile, the filmmaker told Travis and Jason on the podcast that he doesn’t have any topic to “argue about” with his spouse. “I’ve met this incredible woman, she’s beautiful and smart, and she stands for all the most important things that I believe in in the world, and I can’t believe how lucky I am, so what am I going to fight about?” Clooney shared.
