Actress Hilary Swank had a contentious encounter with a woman at LAX airport in Los Angeles. She angrily confronted the woman at the baggage claim area.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 10 between Hilary and a mother who was taking her two sons on a Disneyland Make-A-Wish Vacation.

Hilary became heated when she thought Jada Bafus was taking her photo at the airport without her permission. Jada described the scene for the Daily Mail, saying, “At baggage claim, I was walking next to Hilary Swank and I did a double take on her because it’s Hilary Swank and I am a fan of her movies and stuff.”
Jada became distracted when searching for her husband and sons Mason, 7, and Jack, 4. Both boys suffer from Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a genetic disorder that causes progressive loss of muscle. “I just looked, like, you know, I was trying to call my husband,” she recalled. “I wasn’t taking a picture.”
The harried mother described the alleged encounter on her Instagram page, relating that Hilary said to her, “You got what you needed? Get what you came for? Enjoy that picture.”
Jada told Page Six she responded, “Ma’am … I wasn’t trying [to get] a picture of you, I was trying to find my 2 terminally ill boys at baggage claim. But thanks for poking at a stressed mom on her kid’s Make-A-Wish trip.”
Jada told the Daily Mail that Hilary “hurt my feelings because I was starting my son’s Make-A-Wish trip, which she wouldn’t have known, but just one of those situations where it was one of my first encounters with a celebrity so I thought it was a little comical.”
After the encounter, the Million Dollar Baby actress reached out to Jada via Instagram with an apology. Hilary explained that she did not want her two-year-old twins, Aya and Ohm, photographed.
“I did not expect Hilary Swank to directly talk to me,” Jada said. “It was just, like, a ‘Whoa.’ I was taken aback.” Her husband, Bryan, said the couple forgave the two-time Oscar winner for lashing out.
